	Did you know?

	In 1952 The Old Crown became a Grade II* ‘Listed’ Building, as “a building of more than special architectural and historic interest” – this meant it would have to remain intact, and more or less, in its original form.

Dining out at The Old Crown

Our restaurant is one of Birmingham’s best kept secrets – a truly unique destination to enjoy an intimate meal for two, a memorable family banquet, a relaxed private party or an impressive business function. Children are made to feel particularly welcome in our friendly family atmosphere.

We serve traditional English fare at reasonable prices and have a substantial wine list for you to choose from. Our lunchtime menu is served Monday to Saturday from 12noon until 3pm. The evening menu is available Monday to Saturday from 5pm until 9pm. On Sunday, we offer a full carvery from 1pm until 5pm. Vegetarian options are available on all menus. Whenever possible, we advise you to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Buffet, À la Carte and Table d'Hôte menus for larger parties or private functions are available on request and are subject to booking in advance. Entertainment can also be provided, or you are welcome to arrange your own – please call Anthony Hickey for more details.

	A note to say a big ‘Thank you’ for a wonderful meal and excellent service on Sunday 3rd Matrch 2002. A good time was had by all 14 of us. Everyone had a good day and in fact a good night (I bet you thought we would never leave). Good food, good service, a good pint of Guinness, good music. Thanks also for your tour of the building.
