Great British Pub Awards ‘Best Pub Garden’ Nomination

What a summer its been for The Old Crown! After taking home ‘Best Traditional pub’ in the Midlands’ Food, Drink & Hospitality awards back in June, we’ve been nominated for another award! This time around we’re up for ‘Best Pub Garden’ in the Great British Pub Awards!

We’re delighted to be nominated after all the hard work we’ve put into our garden this summer, Digbeth’s number one suntrap is in the final 6 of all beer gardens in the country!

With new additions to the garden including our big screen area, and our stunning all new one-of-a-kind mural courtesy of Annatomix, the only way is up for the Old Crown garden, and you bet we’ve still got a bunch of plans in store to round off the Brummie summer!

Most importantly, we think the Old Crown garden is a great space for our wonderful Digbeth community. Our garden acts as a melting pot between young and old, those who come to eat, to dance, and to relax. We love Digbeth, and we’re proud to represent it in being nominated for this award.

We’ve had a fantastic year, from our St.Paddy’s day festivities to showing Wimbledon in the baking sun, what a perfect send off to summer this would be. Either way, you bet we’ll be celebrating a fantastic year in the Old Crown garden! You can vote via the Great British Pub Awards website.

We’re going green for St Patricks Week 2018!
